FDM manufacturing – durability in every layer

We don't just print plastic. We select the exact material for your requirements from a wide range of technical filaments:

Materials expertise

From biocompatible PLA to industrial high-performance polymers like carbon fiber, ASA, or chemical-resistant PETG, we'll find the perfect filament for your specific needs.

Mechanical performance

Ideal for functional components, tools, and fixtures that need to withstand everyday use. Our components are durable and robust for tools, fixtures, and tough daily applications.

Economic precision

Efficient manufacturing without expensive tooling costs. FDM offers the optimal balance between minimal post-processing and maximum cost efficiency – ideal for prototypes and small production runs.

Dimensional freedom

Thanks to our generous construction capacity, we can produce complex, large-format objects in one piece. For us, scalability means: no compromises on geometry or stability.

FDM 3D-Printing (Fused Deposition Modeling)

Versatile, robust, economical

In the FDM process, a plastic filament is melted in a print head and precisely extruded through a nozzle onto a build platform. The material solidifies immediately upon exiting and bonds with the layer below. This additive manufacturing process produces extremely durable components.

Technical data

When power meets precision: Our FDM solutions for real-world loads.

Applications: Prototypes, housings, brackets, garden supplies, technical prints, multicolor printing

What level of accuracy does FDM printing offer for technical parts?

We manufacture your components with a precision of approximately +/- 0.2 mm . This is ideal for housings, brackets, and mechanical components where reliable functionality is essential.

How fine is the surface structure?

The minimum layer thickness is between 0.1 and 0.14 mm . While a slight line structure remains visible, as is typical with FDM, this fine resolution ensures a high-quality feel and high level of detail that meets our aesthetic requirements.

Which material is the right one for my replacement part?

We offer a targeted selection based on your requirements:

PLA+: When you need maximum stiffness and precision for concept models without high thermal loads.

PETG: The perfect all-rounder for outdoor use – weather-resistant, chemically resistant and food-safe.

ASA/ABS: The first choice for industry and automotive. ASA is UV-resistant (no fading), while ABS is considered the impact-resistant industry standard.

PC (Polycarbonate): Our high-performance plastic for extreme heat and impact resistance.

TPU: Ideal for functional seals or handles due to its rubber-like, extremely flexible properties.

Where are your products manufactured?

Every part is "Made in Germany" . We manufacture all models in our own workshop in Darmstadt to maintain full control over the print quality, material mix and finish.

How large can the components be printed?

Thanks to our large production volume, we can produce technical prints up to a size of 40 x 40 x 40 cm .

Is post-processing required?

Post-processing is minimal for our FDM prints. We professionally remove all support structures, so you can usually use your component directly.

Miscellaneous

Heat warning (PLA+): Although PLA+ is extremely rigid, it is not suitable for use in hot cars during the summer (deformation occurs at approximately 55°C). For such cases, use our ASA or PC .

Food-safe (PETG): Our PETG is generally food-safe. However, please note that due to the layered structure, 3D prints have small gaps where bacteria can accumulate. Not dishwasher safe!

Paintability: All FDM parts can be painted perfectly with acrylic paints after a light priming.
