What this isDescription

She guards the home. She embodies joy. She carries the fierce heart of a lioness.

Step into the world of ancient Egypt with this detailed Bastet Egyptian Cat Goddess Statue, inspired by one of the most beloved and widely worshipped goddesses in Egyptian mythology. With her feline form, Bastet represents protection, the home, fertility, music, joy, and the nurturing power of family.

Bastet was originally depicted as a fierce lioness goddess before gradually becoming associated with the domestic cat. While her appearance softened over time, her powerful protective nature remained. She was honoured as a guardian of homes and families, protecting them from harm while also embodying joy, pleasure, music, and celebration.

Bastet was celebrated through festivals filled with music, dancing, and offerings, reflecting her connection to happiness and the pleasures of everyday life. Her dual nature — gentle yet fierce, nurturing yet protective — made her one of the most enduring figures in ancient Egyptian religion.

This Egyptian Goddess Statue makes a beautiful addition to your home, altar, spiritual space, or mythology collection. Place Bastet in a space dedicated to protection, family, healing, creativity, or personal strength. Her presence represents the safety of home, the joy found in everyday life, and the courage to embrace both your gentle and powerful sides.

Whether you are an admirer of Egyptian mythology, a collector of ancient Egyptian statues, or simply drawn to the symbolism and mystery of the gods and goddesses, this Bastet figurine brings timeless mythology and striking visual character into your space.

A Symbol of Protection & Joy

Bastet is more than a representation of the domestic cat. She is the guardian of the home, protector of family, and goddess of joy and celebration — embodying the balance between tenderness and fierce protective strength.

Her powerful symbolism makes this statue a meaningful centerpiece for an altar, meditation space, or personal collection. It also makes a distinctive gift for lovers of ancient history, Egyptian mythology, mythology statues, and spiritual symbolism.

Safety and manufacturer

Not a toy. Decorative collector's item. Not suitable for children under 14 years, and not intended for play.

Thin and pointed parts — weapons, wings, crowns, fingers — can snap if the piece is dropped, knocked over, or picked up by a detail instead of the base. Broken resin leaves sharp edges and fragments small enough for a child or a pet to choke on. Place the piece where it cannot be pulled down.

Indoor display only. The piece is not weatherproof: rain, frost and damp damage the paintwork and the seal.

Keep away from open flames, candles, heaters and long spells of direct sunlight. Resin softens and discolours under heat, and the finish fades under UV light.

Not food-safe. Do not use it to hold, serve or touch food or drink, and do not put it in the mouth.

Do not sand, cut, drill or otherwise machine the piece. Cured resin is harmless to touch — the dust from working it is not, and must not be inhaled.

Care

Dust with a soft dry brush. No water, no cleaning agents. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight so the paintwork holds. Cured resin is solid but not indestructible, and thin raised elements can break under real force.

Dust with a soft dry brush or a dry microfibre cloth. Work from the top down and follow the shape: a brush reaches into folds and undercuts that a cloth only pushes dust into. If dusting is not enough, use a cloth barely damp with water and dry the piece straight after. No cleaning agents, no alcohol, no solvents, no abrasive sponges — they lift the paint and dull the sealed finish. Never soak the piece or hold it under running water. Lift and carry by the base, never by an arm, a weapon or a wing. Keep it out of long direct sunlight so the colours hold, and away from radiators, fireplaces and candles. If something does break, keep the fragment and get in touch before you glue anything. Most breaks can be repaired cleanly — the wrong adhesive leaves a mark that cannot be undone.

Every angle, before it exists

Bastet is the cat goddess of ancient Egypt — deity of home, fertility, music, dance, protection, and the rising sun. Originally depicted as a fierce lioness goddess, she gradually transformed into the elegant domestic cat figure beloved across the ancient world. Yet the lioness never entirely disappeared: beneath the grace of the cat lies the ferocity of a mother protecting her children. She was worshipped at her great temple in Bubastis, where enormous festivals drew hundreds of thousands of pilgrims each year — celebrations of music, wine, and joy that the Greek historian Herodotus described as the most festive gatherings in all of Egypt. Her sacred animal, the cat, was so revered that killing one — even accidentally — was punishable by death. Bastet carries a sistrum (a sacred rattle), a basket, and sometimes a small lion-headed aegis. She is the protector of women, children, and households; the goddess of pleasure and the warmth of the sun; and the fierce guardian who burns away illness, evil spirits, and all that threatens the home. In modern practice, Bastet is called upon for protection of the home, for joy and celebration, for healing from illness, and for the courage to embrace both gentleness and fierceness as two sides of the same divine nature.

Before you order

When will my order arrive?

Statues and shelf figures ordered today arrive by … in your Destination: Germany shipping cost from 5.99 EUR - free shipping for orders above 50 EUR.

Custom figures made from a photo take longer, because the model is sculpted and approved before anything is printed.

Are the figures really painted by hand?

Yes. After printing, each piece is washed, cured, primed and painted individually. Two figures of the same sculpt differ slightly, and that is the point.

Can I return a custom figure?

Custom-made items are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal, because they cannot be resold. That is why you approve the 3D model before printing and get three rounds of changes for free.

What are they made of?

Statues are printed in SLA resin for fine detail. Desk figures are printed in multicolor PLA, which is sturdier and cheaper.

Do you ship outside Germany?

Germany today. EU, UK and USA are being switched on shortly, and the shipping rates are already in place.
