VEX – Night Dragon Desk Figurine

VEX — Spark of the Night — is the first dragon in the PrintableArtForge Desk Buddies series. Where most desk objects are passive, VEX has a presence. Named after the Old English word for to disturb, to unsettle, to challenge, VEX is the dragon that does not sit quietly. It perches. It watches. It makes the space around it feel like it belongs to something other than you.

VEX is printed using high-precision multicolor FDM technology — a process in which multiple filaments are layered simultaneously during printing, building the colour directly into the object rather than applying it on top. The result is a figure whose matte black scales, vivid blue speckles, and sharp red eyes will not chip, fade, or peel with time. The colour is structural, not decorative.

Designed and printed in our studio in Darmstadt, Germany, VEX is built for the desk of someone who takes their workspace seriously — gamers, coders, writers, and anyone who believes that the objects around them should mean something.

🔬 Material Information:
Material: Cured 3D printing resin / abs-like resin / tough-resin.
Manufacturing method: SLA - Resin 3D printing
The item is hand-painted, sealed, or finished with acrylic paints, pigments.
Although the resin is fully cured and finished, the item is intended for decorative use only. Avoid sanding, cutting, drilling, or modifying the product, as resin dust may be harmful if inhaled.

Temperature resistance: Keep away from heat sources, open flames, heaters, candles, fireplaces, and direct sunlight for long periods. Excessive heat may cause deformation, discoloration, or damage to the finish.

Dust gently with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth.
Do not use cleaning agents, alcohol, solvents, abrasive sponges, or harsh chemicals.
Avoid rubbing, scratching, soaking, or prolonged contact with water.

Do not place the item in a dishwasher, microwave, oven, or near any heat-producing appliance.

Dispose of the item responsibly according to local household waste regulations.
Do not burn the product.

Packaging materials such as paper, cardboard, and filling material should be recycled where local recycling options are available.
